This policy explains how SnagBoss ("we") collects and uses your personal data when you use our website and apps. We are the data controller. For any privacy question, contact hello@snagboss.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address (used to sign you in with a magic link).
- Property & snag data: property details, rooms, snag descriptions and photos you add.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: minimal, privacy-friendly analytics and security logs.
Why we use it
To provide the service (capturing and sharing your snag reports) under our contract with you, to take payment, to keep the service secure, and — only with your consent — to send you product updates.
Who we share it with
We use trusted processors to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage and email), Stripe (payments, acting as merchant of record), and our address-lookup provider. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement. We never sell your data.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. You can delete your account (and all associated properties, snags and photos) from your settings, or by emailing us.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted data is purged from our systems after a short grace period.
